Rachel is up for eviction,although she never got enough votes,big brother decided to punish some of the house mates for nomination talk.
Dale and Luke were the two that should of been up,but with many of the house mates talking in code about who they think will be up,big brother decided to punish them and added,Darnell,Rex,Mohamed,Stuart,Maysoon,Kat and Rachel,although by the wednesday this was reduced as Maysoon left the big brother house of her own accord.
So its eight house mates up this week,and with a vote to evict it looks likely that Luke will be joining Bex as he is favourite to go,maybe its not a bad thing for him and big brother as they will be in all the magazines selling their fauxmance,and keeping big brother firmly in the public eye.
The night before nominations,and big brother decide to show the VT’S of the hell house mates to the heavenly house mates,and although Dales VT was by far the most revealing and potentially damaging,the heavenly house mates,mainly Rex decided it was Rachel that had misrepresented herself the most.
The house mates have been suspicious of Rachel ever since Bex provided them with the information that Rachel was some how different at her auditions,and seeing this VT confirmed to Rex that Bex had been right all along.
Rachel has always seen Rex as a friend,but instead of pulling her aside and confronting her one on one,he chose to attack her in front of the whole group,accusing her of being a fake and a liar.
Now the question has to be asked ,did Rachel misrepresent herself on her VT?
The evidence.
She is very hyper in the video,but its an audition tape,they are told to sell themselves,has she been hyper in the house? ,of course she has,is she hyper all the time? ,of course not.
Now lets look at the things Rachel actually said.
When people first meet me they think i am annoying,but i dont care cos i know i am,i talk a lot.
Rachel, when shes with people shes comfortable with ,does talk a lot,by talking a lot she means exactly that,what she doesn’t do is shout a lot,or talk over people in a group to make herself heard.
Im not all me me me me,i hate people like that,and im not one of them
This is true of Rachel,she never talks about herself in a “look at me aren’t i great” kind of way,also she always puts other people first in every situation,some times to her own detriment.
Ive got this chatty,happy,enthusiastic personality,at the same time when i want to be serious i can.
This is the Rachel we see in the house every day,i don’t see how Rex could think shes misrepresenting herself here,im sure if the house mates were asked to describe Rachel,they would come up with many of the same adjectives she used herself.
Its not fair to stereotype people as really chatty ,energetic annoying,or really boring miserable horrid,its nice because im bang in the middle,and im also very strong
Again this is the Rachel we see in the house,someone who is neither extreme,who is always willing to stand up for herself and others.
My dad says im bossy,but its not so much about being bossy,its about motivating people helping them,and in the long run they might think im being bossy but they will thank me for it.
Helping people? Motivating people? isn’t this what Rachel does in the house.
I know im a pretty girl,but i still have my bum,but im proud of that bum and im proud of these hips,im proud to be a curvy girl.
Rachel who used to have a weight problem,has obviously had body issues at some point,but instead of dwelling on it and obsessing with being super thin,says look,im a curvy girl and proud.
It seems Rex and co,read into this something else,they read it as Rachel trying to sex it up.
They will love me in the house after a while,i mean who wouldn’t.
Unfortunately for Rachel,this is now unlikely to happen in the house,the seeds of doubt have been sown,first by Bex and now by the heavenly house mates,the fact that all the house mates haven’t seen the VT means they only have hear say to go on,and the hear say coming from the most vocal of the heavenly house mates IE: Rex ,says that Rachel is a fake.
Rex, instead of focusing on a cleverly edited MTV style VT,should of focused on what she was actually saying,because if he did that,he would see that the Rachel in the VT is in fact the same person he has spent the last eight weeks living with.
Big brother have really stitched Rachel up here,she could even pick up enough nominations today to have her up for eviction.
Hopefully the public don’t see her as the house mates see her.
Rebecca was evicted from the big brother house with 65% of the vote,as usual there was varying degrees of shock in the house,though to the viewer it was the right result.
Davina’s interview was again poor,she even went as far as to sound shocked and disappointed that she was even sat there with her,because of course it broke up her “romance” with Luke,which they spent the whole interview discussing,and no matter how many times Bex said they were just friends,Davina would keep pushing it and pushing it,you could almost hear her saying “Think of the magazine deals,think of the press you will get for your self and this show”.
Surprisingly the Luke/Bex relationship even carried on to big brother big mouth,it seems channel 4 are so desperate to push their romance that even on big mouth every question seemed to tie them in as a couple,with Bex at the end just conceding defeat by saying “We will just have to wait to see what happens when he gets out of the house” which translated means, “Oh so theres a lot of interest in me and Luke,i have been missing your subtle hints,money money money”.
They also implied the show would be boring now Bex has gone,Bex who spends most of her day sat on the bed bitching with Luke,or getting her tits out in the pool,and very little else,shes the kind of house mate that has turned many viewers away from big brother,so channel 4,the public have decided that they wanted her out,maybe you should start listening to what the public want.
This weeks task was all about time,house mates from heaven and hell had to complete three out of five tasks to win a luxury budget,they failed to complete the archaeological dig task and also failed to complete the human clock task where house mates had to estimate an hour by counting in their heads.
The third task of keeping a sand timer filled up was easy enough to complete and they passed that one,the fourth had Maysoon and Stuart putting together a working clock from all the various pieces,which they did,and finally the hardest task was finding and turning off the alarms of various clocks in a 45 second time frame,in a room full of clocks,this was the hell house mates task and required them to be up all night,they were allowed up to 5 fails,but managed to complete it, having made only four,so the house mates completed this weeks task and so therefore will have a luxury budget for next week,so living in hell won’t be so hellish after all.
